I felt that it is unfair to make him shoulder the blame for France’s defeat because it is not entirely his fault. When you’re playing a game, you have to work as a team not in a team. We can’t possibly blame one man for a whole team’s mistake. It is true that Zidane was foolish to do that foul act and get the red card because it brings down the teams moral. However, the team all the more should do their best to show that they need not depend only on one man Zidane. If because Zidane was kicked out and France lost, that means the team totally depend on him to win the world cup. If they are as good as they claim to be then they should be able to win with or without Zidane. Zidane however was alittle to rash to do that infamous head-butt move, as a captain he is suppose to be calm and wise under any given circumstances. I remember there was once when it was my primary school’s sportsday and we had an inter-class competition. We took turns to do each obstacle. As it was one of my classmate turn to hula-hoop, she fell and was too embarassed to stand back up again. We dropped to the last from the first, when we got our trophy we though the judges decided to give us a second place everyone started to blame her from being fat and clumsy. I naturally am really ignorant so I joined in with them and insulted her. I still feel so guilt-stricken until today.
